Automatic detection (“Find data”)

Rather than going through every document by hand, you can run PII detection across all the documents in a project: project view → step 2 “Find data” (or dictionary → “Find data”).

Choose a profile — Fast, Standard (recommended) or Deep (more matches, more false positives) — and, if needed, individual detection methods (names, addresses, phone numbers, IBANs, tax numbers, dates, companies, barcodes and many more). “Scan documents” starts the run with a progress display.

The result list shows every finding with its category, value, type and status (New / Duplicate). Filter, select and then import at the bottom — either as a redaction or (where pseudonymisation is licensed) as a pseudonym (auto-generated). The imported entries land in the project dictionary and take effect immediately in all documents.
