Pseudonymisation

In the Pseudonymisation tool you replace terms with pseudonyms:

• Quick entry: enter the original (or take it from the document with a left click — with Ctrl for word sequences too), and the system proposes a suitable pseudonym automatically; accept it or enter your own.
• The Replacements section lists every “original → pseudonym” pair with a match count; document-specific replacements are shown separately.
• The display in the document is live: the pseudonym stands in place of the original.

Uniqueness

Do not assign the same pseudonym to different originals — the interface warns you in that case, because the reverse translation would become ambiguous.

Re-identification: if a pseudonymised document comes back after external processing, store it in the Returned files area. There the viewer offers the “Show reverse translation (original over pseudonym)” switch; the guided re-identification flow (the stepper in the project view) replaces the pseudonyms with the originals again and files the result in the project.
