Docuflair Exporter

The Docuflair Exporter downloads the contents of a project or a project folder as individual files into a local target directory — either the originals or the redacted versions, optionally converted to PDF/A.

  • Setup: DocuflairExporterSetup-<version>.exe — Windows 10 or later, 64-bit, administrator rights required
  • Installation path: C:\Program Files\Docuflair\exporter; the interface follows the system language automatically (9 languages)

Signing in works as it does in the Docuflair Importer — including the security notice about saved credentials (~/.velkaris-exporter/credentials.json).

  1. Select the project and the source folder in the project (the system areas Exports and Returned files are excluded).
  2. Select the target directory (local).
  3. Export mode: “Original (unredacted)” or “Redacted”.
  4. Target PDF format: keep the original format (or standard PDF) · PDF (standard, PDF 1.7) · PDF/A-1b (long-term archiving) · PDF/A-2b · PDF/A-3b.
  5. Options — in “Redacted” mode only:
    • “Export in the original file format where possible (DOCX, XLSX, PPTX)”
    • “Replace external field references with redacted images” (requires the previous option)
    • “Export approved documents only”
  6. General options:
    • “Apply OCR (text recognition)” — available with a redacted export or when a target PDF format is selected
    • “Keep the folder structure” (enabled by default)
    • “Overwrite existing files” — otherwise existing files are skipped (log: “SKIPPED: …”)
  7. “Start export” — progress and the log as in the Importer; on completion: “Export finished. n OK, m errors. (data volume)”.
  • The Exporter writes individual files (no ZIP); the project’s folder structure is reproduced beneath the target directory. ZIP packages are produced by the project export in the web interface.
  • Which versions may be exported is determined by the download level of your own role; without download rights the run stops immediately.
  • Transient errors are retried up to 3 times per document; the run is sequential.
  • The project, folder, target directory and options are remembered for the next start.
