The device list
The device list shows every multifunction printer and scanner registered in Docuflair. From here you edit, delete or copy devices. You also determine, for each device individually, which functions are available to users.
You reach the device list through the menu navigation under Devices > Registration. By default you see the list of every device present and active here.
Permission required
To access this function you need the following permission:
- Show the device list (
AdminUI_DeviceManagement_ListDevices)
You grant permissions through groups — see permissions – overview.
Different commands are available depending on the type of device. The commands in the column at the far right let you edit or delete devices. You duplicate individual entries with the Copy device function. The Adjust the start menu command is how you determine, for each device individually, which tiles are available to the user.
The simulator is registered on localhost, 127.0.0.1 and ::1 and is supplied with the installation by default, for testing and demonstration purposes.
