Xerox device settings

The Xerox settings are where you configure the connection and the functions for Xerox devices.

As with Epson, you choose the transfer file format and the file transfer protocol here too. You can additionally set a default device password for the administrator.

Permission required

To access this function you need the following permission:

• Edit device settings (AdminUI_DeviceManagement_EditDeviceSettings)

You grant permissions through groups — see permissions – overview.

Secure Access locks down the full range of functions of multifunction devices. Only people with permission are then granted access to printing, scanning, copying or faxing. Docuflair® offers various authentication options for that purpose. You find them under the general device settings.

You adjust the lock screen through its title and description.

The Xerox print job clean-up service deletes jobs after a timeout. For that, give the number of seconds after which they are to be deleted.
