QR codes in workflows
QR codes let you forward scanned documents to the right recipient automatically. You print a QR code on a cover sheet, put it on the stack of documents and scan the lot. Docuflair recognises the QR code and so knows where the document is to be sent.
The QR code area is available within a workflow of the type Input/Docuflair QR code or Input/Preprocessing/Docuflair QR code. It is shown as a section of its own when such a workflow is edited.

You grant permissions through groups — see permissions – overview.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”QR code workflows allow documents to be separated and delivered automatically on the basis of Docuflair QR codes:
- An individual QR code is generated for every contact in the address book.
- The QR code is printed on a cover sheet and placed in front of the stack of documents it belongs to.
- While scanning, Docuflair recognises the QR codes and separates the documents accordingly.
- Each part-document is forwarded automatically to the contact stored in the QR code.
Generating a QR code
Section titled “Generating a QR code”The Generate a QR code for a contact button takes you to the contact management, where you can create and download QR codes for existing contacts.
Workflow types with QR code support
Section titled “Workflow types with QR code support”| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Input/Docuflair QR code | Documents are separated by QR code and forwarded straight to contacts from the address book. |
| Input/Preprocessing/Docuflair QR code | As above, but with additional preprocessing (removing blank pages or straightening pages, for example) before the QR codes are recognised. |
For more on the various workflow types, see scan workflows.
