Word replacement

Word replacements are abbreviations you can use while scanning. Instead of typing the full file name, you enter a short code (“IN”, for example) and Docuflair replaces it automatically with the full text (“Invoice number”). That saves time when typing on the printer display.

Docuflair offers the word replacement function while scanning.

Word replacements make it possible to use short codes in the file name that the software replaces automatically. If you enter IN, for instance, Docuflair replaces that code with Invoice number.

Permission required

To access this function you need the following permission:

Show word replacements (AdminUI_ScanManagement_ListWordReplacements)

You grant permissions through groups — see permissions – overview.

List of the word replacements

You find the word replacements in the menu under Scanning/Word replacements. Every word replacement is listed here. The Commands on the right-hand side let you delete and edit them. To add a new word replacement, click Add word replacement.

When creating and editing, you enter a word and the text it should be replaced with.
