Connections

Connections show every external system communicating with your Docuflair server — member servers in a distributed installation, for example, or mobile devices that reach Docuflair through apps.

The Connections area shows you every external connection established with Docuflair.

Permission required

To access this function you need the following permission:

• Show connections (AdminUI_SystemConfiguration_ListConnections)

Permissions are granted through groups — see permissions – overview.

Two kinds of connection are distinguished:

• Member servers
• Mobile devices

Member servers

By default no member server is connected, so the list is empty.

Disconnecting a member server

Where you want to disconnect an existing connection to a member server, a button for deleting the connection is available on the right-hand side.

Once the connection has been deleted, the member server in question can no longer connect to the server. The connection has to be established from the member server again.

Mobile devices

By default no mobile device is connected, so the list is empty.

Disconnecting a mobile device

Where you want to disconnect an existing connection to a mobile device, a button for deleting the connection is available on the right-hand side.

Once the connection has been deleted, the mobile device in question can no longer connect to the server. The connection has to be established from the mobile device again.
