Email accounts

Docuflair uses email accounts for two purposes: for sending — where scanned documents are to be delivered by email, for example — and for receiving — where documents sent by email are to be printed automatically (mobile print), for example. For that you store an email account along with its credentials.

Email is sent or received in various scenarios while Docuflair is in use. To make it possible to receive and send email messages in the Docuflair system, you therefore configure both incoming and outgoing email settings.

Overview of the email accounts

The overview shows every email account configured in a table with the following columns:

Column Description
Name The name of the email account. A click on the name takes you to editing the account.
Description An optional description of the account.
Server type Shows the server type configured (SMTP, IMAP or POP3, for example) or Disabled, where the account is not active.

Options Additional connection options (SSL/TLS settings, for example).

The search field is how you filter the list by entry. The entries per page option lets you adjust how many accounts are shown.

A click on an account’s name, or on the editing icon in the Commands column, lets you edit an existing account. For more, see editing an email account.
