Permissions

Permissions determine what a group of users is allowed to do in Docuflair — whether they may print, scan or change settings, for example. By assigning permissions to groups you control which functions are available to which members of staff.

You reach the permissions through the menu navigation under System > Groups & policies and a click on the second tab, Permissions.

Under Permissions, every permission available is listed along with the groups assigned to it.

Permissions required

To access this function you need all the following permissions:

• Edit permission (AdminUI_GroupPolicyManagement_EditPermission)
• Show the permission list (AdminUI_GroupPolicyManagement_ListPermissions)

There are two ways of linking permissions with groups:

Searching

Editing

Clicking the edit command on a permission in the permission view lets you assign groups to it as you please.

Under Group you select the group you want and click Add.
