Value lists

Value lists are predefined lists shown in Docuflair’s forms and input fields. Instead of typing values in by hand, users choose from a list given — cost centres, departments or document categories, for example. That prevents typing errors and keeps the data consistent.

You reach the value lists through the menu navigation under System > Value lists.

Permission required

To access this function you need the following permission:

Show value lists (AdminUI_SystemConfiguration_ListSetValues)

Permissions are granted through groups — see permissions – overview.

The list view

The overview shows every value list configured, with its name, its description and the number of entries it contains.

Creating a value list

A click on Create sets a new value list up.

Setting	Description
Name	A unique name for the value list.
Description	An optional description of what it is for.

Editing a value list

A click on an existing value list lets you edit it. Within a value list you manage the entries:

Add entry — adds a new value to the list.
Edit entry — changes an existing value.
Delete entry — removes a value from the list.

You can adjust the order of the entries where needed.

Deleting a value list

You remove value lists through the delete icon.
