Xerox Secure Access (XSA)
On Xerox devices you sign in through the device’s own sign-in window. For Xerox multifunction devices, external authentication through Xerox Secure Access (XSA) is additionally available.
Signing in with a user card
Section titled “Signing in with a user card”Hold your user card against the card reader to unlock the Xerox multifunction printer. Once you have signed in successfully, you see your sign-in name in the top left corner along with all the functions released for you. These can differ depending on the multifunction printer and the user signed in.

Using an unknown user card
Section titled “Using an unknown user card”If the user card used is not yet known to the system, the device can respond in two ways:
- An error message appears, because an unknown card was used.
- The dialog for self-registering the unknown card appears.
If you want to add the card — still unknown to the Docuflair system — to your user account, tap Yes. Alternatively, cancel the sign-in with No or Exit.

Once you have confirmed, sign in with your credentials: enter your user name in the first dialog and your password in the second. If both match, you are signed in at the multifunction printer and the previously unknown card is registered for your user account.
Signing in with a user name and password
Section titled “Signing in with a user name and password”First enter your user name and confirm with OK.

Then enter your password and confirm with OK.

Signing in with a PIN code
Section titled “Signing in with a PIN code”Enter your PIN code and confirm with OK.

Signing in with a user name and password or a PIN code
Section titled “Signing in with a user name and password or a PIN code”Docuflair also supports a mixed form: you can sign in either with a user name and password or with your unique PIN code.

Added security through a PUK code
Section titled “Added security through a PUK code”If you need an additional level of security, Docuflair can request a PUK code. After signing in with a card or a PIN code, the PUK code then has to be entered as well. The device is unlocked only after a valid entry.
